This is the recipe I use:) I hope you like 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 / 2 cup cocoa powder 1 / 4 tsp tea salt 1 / 4 tsp to tea baking soda 1 / 4 c. tea baking powder 1 / 2 cup butter, softened 1 cup sugar 1 egg 1-1/2 c. tea vanilla 1 (10 ounces) 1 jar maraschino cherries (6 ounces) chocolate chips semisweet package 1 / 2 cup evaporated milk Preparation: Combine flour, cocoa powder , baking soda and salt in a large bowl, set aside. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar on low speed until lightly. Add egg and vanilla, beating until smooth. Gradually add flour mixture and mix well until smooth. Shape into 1-inch balls by rolling a small amount of dough between the palms of their hands. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Using your thumb, press down the center of the ball making an indentation. Drain cherries, reserving juice. Place a cherry in center of each cookie. For frosting: In a small saucepan, combine chocolate chips and condensed milk. Heat over low heat until chocolate is melted. Add 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon of cherry juice and stir. Pour about 1 teaspoon glaze over each cherry, spreading to cover cherry. If frosting is too thick, add the cherry juice a little more. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes 48 biscuits.
