The incidences in the shops, walk to the fight against the "glass" which holds all the knives and / or firearms. Where can I find a display box that way? They have over 100 collectible knives Pristine I want to display in a case like that described. Thank you all!

I recommend looking at thrift stores, antique shops and auctions property. Take China cabinets and other enclosures that may have been intended for other purposes. A cabinet with more character are the best seen as a collection of yours, and find local means it will be expensive home.

You’ll want to live south, then, definitely.

There is no place like Manhattan in California, pretty sure…maybe downtown LA. Maybe. Also, you should know that the beaches here aren’t super clear…they aren’t ugly, just not super clear.

Check out Santa Monica and Malibu Beach. Maybe Redondo Beach, too. All of those are beaches of LA, so you’re near the city and people are still pretty packed together. Santa Monica’s pier and Third Street Promenade are totally cute, and have been in a bunch of movies.

You might like San Diego, too, but SD people are a lot more laid back, not busy and rushing everywhere.

Art Glass Chandeliers: Something Unique

If you’re looking for interesting lighting fixtures here’s a museum in Japan full of them guaranteed to inspire you.

A museum in the Hakone region of Japan, (a few hours from Tokyo) houses some of the most interesting Venetian crystal ornamentation and lighting. The Venetian Glass Museum or the Hakone Glass Forest, as it’s called, is a great way to see crystal and Murano glass in all its splendor, because, unlike a typical museum, a portion of the displays begin outside where entryway trees are festooned in Murano crystal; some clear, others in beautiful rich colors. These crystal filled trees line the museum’s courtyard.

The museum itself contains some very exquisite Murano glass chandeliers dating back to the 18th century. Period piece rooms are filled with ornate crystal chandeliers - a different kind of visual experience for the Murano glass lover, a Venetian style of production that dates back hundreds of years.

Murano glassmaking began in the 13th century when glassmakers in Venice were banned to the island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon. Some of this was based on safety to ensure the hot fires needed to make glass would not burn down Venice but another reason was to keep the knowledge of the craft secret and specific to the area. Glassmakers of Murano (at the time) were actually forbidden to share their trade secrets with foreigners nor were they allowed to leave the island, an offense punishable by death. Venetian glassmakers were the leaders in glassmaking throughout the middle ages, right up until the 19th and 20th century when they were finally upstaged by the Bohemian and English glassmakers.

Murano glass is still renowned throughout the world. Glassmakers on Murano work much the same way they did hundreds of years ago but now it’s possible to find much more affordable Murano reproductions.

Terrariums are much like miniature greenhouses. Specifically, a terrarium can be thought to reproduce the environment of Earth is the planet itself. One of the characteristics of our wonderful climate is a continuous process of recycling water that is trapped in the atmosphere. The water cycle is what sustains life, such as we know. There is no end to this cycle and continuous presence of moisture in the air is always in motion.

A well-constructed terrarium enclosure can be thought of as layers of the atmosphere surrounding the earth. Humidity remains trapped in the atmosphere does not break down in space but just the atmospheric layer between the surface area.

More than ninety-seven percent of the water found in oceans, the oceans constitute over seventy percent of the surface area. Ocean water is constantly evaporation process. In short, the evaporation is the conversion of water gas and heat of the sun driving the evaporation process. As more gas water vapor, the condensation process takes over.

The visible evidence of condensation may be on cloud formation at different levels in the atmosphere. The cooler air of the upper atmosphere causing the gas to cool the formation of water droplets. A Part of the water cycle involves terrarium plants through the transpiration process in which water is expelled from the plant. Continuing the cycle of water expelled from the plant cell evaporates, condenses and falls into every corner of your terrarium.

Now, the water cycle in a terrarium not produce a deluge of rain or a thunderstorm. However, a terrarium allows us to see firsthand the delicate balance that exists in nature, a balance that maintains the soil cool and moist. The same process happens in your terrarium makes life on this beautiful planet as possible.
