Fridge magnets are perhaps one of the most popular for people of all ages. With a wide variety of participation fridge magnets difficulty many levels, creating magnets range from easy to very difficult. We opted for an easy - for this project can be achieved in older children with a wide range of results. What is important for the success of this project is the selection stones of crystal quality and media interest.

Materials needed:

• Magazine or the source of other materials

• Adhesive (we recommend using Weldbond)

• McGill Giant Punch Circle (1-1/4 inch diameter) - or you can use scissors to cut the circular support

• Large Glass Gems (Use 1.5 "clear molded for this project)

• Magnets (using high-strength magnets for this project)

• Scissors

Glass Gems Election

The crystal stones that you select should have few if any, bubbles. There two types of crystal stones on the market: molded and free-form. The actors are created by pouring molten glass into a round mold, and free form glass gems are created by pouring molten glass on a flat surface. We prefer the cast of this project because they are perfectly round and coincides with the Punch-Out will use. The free-form gems are good for creating magnets are painted on the back, or printed on the front.

The choice Runway

Step 3: After selecting an image, use your scissors to cut the excess paper From the image to fit more easily into the sample, hole punches. Do not cut too small. Step 9: Press the magnet in place on the tape. Remember to press firmly enough to remove excess glue. After removal of excess glue, the magnet should not move freely, but should be maintained, while pressing the back.
