Any suggestions on how to enjoy my feet puppy in the Epsom salt?
Well, I have a puppy of 6 months had an old injury foot, which had healed before I took it. It is a mixture of laboratory Newfoundland and is large enough and (I weigh 45 pounds and is about 23 inches high). I was taken back to the vet yesterday for his foot injury and the vet said I should soak your feet in salt water Epson once a day and to give an antibiotic for possible infection that may have entered the wound is healed. The only problem is that it is very hyper and wants to ride while taking advantage of his foot. She also tries to drink water epson salt. It's a real pain. One aim of the hind leg that the former injury. I do what the vet recommended to avoid surgery on his foot. Could someone please give me suggestions. Only serious suggestions please.
Two people have responded very well, I think the combination both would be best. I would take towels and a clean cloth dipped in salt solution and put some kind of plastic wrap around it and secure, but not too strong. Be sure to watch your dog at this time to ensure no chewing. This way, you can entertain your dog and they could move a bit to ignore the package, while being used. To do this, for about 30 minutes a day would do well. Hope this helps. There were responses very good here.
