The light bulb should not be difficult to replace. There are a couple of screws that open the shell and the light bulb itself is probably the screw type. You could take it to Radio Shack and they should have some replacement.

In my experience, one should never go by color when dealing with light fixtures especially with old antique fixtures that may have been rewired. Many rewiring jobs are done with whatever wire is available that fits.

You need to get a voltage meter to do this right. You can find them at HD/Lowes or Radio Shack. Use the Ohms setting (upside down U) which measures resistance. With this setting, you should see 1 (high resistance) when the leads are not touching and 0 (no resistance) when the leads are touching. Connect a lead to a wire and touch the other lead to socket parts to see what the wires connect to.

Hot (black) connects to the bottom contact in the center of the socket.
Neutral (white) connects to the threads.
Ground will connect to the metal housing of the chandelier.

If there are multiple sockets on the chandelier, check all of them to insure the chandelier itself is wired properly.

If you like sweet peppers or hot varieties, which are easy to grow and maintain. There are several varieties of pepper that can be consumed fresh, dried, or used in chili vinegar, sauces and chutneys. Some of my favorite varieties are:

The method you choose for preserving peppers depends largely on the variety. Usually, I keep my collection in the following ways: by freezing, sauces, vinegar, or drying.

To freeze peppers, chilies cultures and fresh crisp and clean. Peppers will release quickly, then take some time before you plan to freeze. Cut peppers in half and remove seeds. I dry the seeds, place them in small plastic bags labeled storage, and save for planting next year.

Cut peppers sliced into rings or strips. Boil water and blanch peppers minutes 2-3. Cool quickly in ice water and drain completely. Move freezer bags with zip and seal. Tag out of the bag with permanent marker, including variety and date. Use the frozen peppers cooked foods such as soups, stews, gumbo, chili pasta dishes, spaghetti, french fries, etc.

One of the most common mistakes I see with employers and recruiters, curriculum is a person at face value. This is particularly serious when is the recruitment of sales personnel. Why? Stores are masters of the tower. When I see a resume that comes to me as an integer spin (such as tubes increased by 82% doubled the reserves, revenues have tripled, etc), and I do not see revenue in absolute terms or reserve figures, I get very suspicious. It why one of the first things I do when I interview a candidate for sale is asked for a "historic achievement of sales." This is a very simple spreadsheet that summarizes the accomplishments of a candidate against targets on the number of previous years, in absolute dollar amounts. It is very easy to install, and most successful sales candidates are willing to produce. Ask them to open a Excel spreadsheet and make a list and a table to the year, its annual sales target, and their achievement in the columns. Ask them to reconsider five years of its history.

As you can imagine, good candidates are happy to produce this information for you and quite capable of doing. Why? Because they have built and maintained a successful career and have followed these figures because it is a party badge of honor to use sales as a producer.

Sellers who do not always hit their numbers are not able to produce this type of information you as part the interview process. In general, the apologies and say, "Well, I'm not sure if I remember the numbers, I'll have to dig and see if I or not the data. No record keeping. "Generally, what this means is that the sales rep that you are interviewing has not had the kind of story you to research.

With any container, especially in Texas where it can be hot and dry, you’ll need to water it daily. Just do it before you leave in the morning or when you come home late in the afternoon. I find watering makes me take time and enjoy my flowers!

Having said that, I love the kind of petunias that will cascade down from the containers. Put a spike or some kind of grass for some vertical contrast in the center of the container. I’d also fertilize once a month to keep the petunia flowers in full vigor.
